RP RULES

These rules are meant to help guide you as you roleplay on this forum! Please pay close attention, as ignoring these rules will lead to trouble. This list will be updated as needed.

• No PP or GM! Power Playing (PP) is when you take control of another person's character or force things to happen to them. Instead of writing, "Joe landed a sweet roundhouse kick to Bob's face," write instead, "Joe aimed a sweet roundhouse kick at Bob's face." See the difference? This gives the other person a chance to decide the outcome. Also, only write your character's actions and don't assume the actions of someone else's character. God Moding (GM) means giving your character unbelievable or overpowered qualities such as being able to survive a nuclear blast or never getting hurt, like ever. Be reasonable in your character's reactions!
• Make sure that you are posting in the correct location for your thread. Moderators will move your thread to the correct board if it needs to be relocated.
  
• If your RP starts out in one location and moves to another location, there is no need to create a new thread in the new location. You may simply keep posting in the same thread. This keeps things from becoming too confusing. 
• Keep violent and suggestive content to a minimum, please. If you'd like to RP a situation that is more graphic or sexually explicit, please PM an admin for the link to the After Dark board. Members, please save the link in your bookmarks and do not post the link anywhere else.
