"HE'S NEW!" yells the ensign. WAY TO EXCITED. "I mean, yeah! I'm totally Zixx. That's my name! What'syourname?" ... her hands working double speed on the crystal casing, and she barely seems to be paying attention to it.

Ricky nearly fumbled the instrument that was shoved in his face, but he recovered quickly. Holding it up, he recognized it as a dermal regenerator... not that he'd really be able to fix his own shoulder very well, anyway. As he set it aside with his PADD, he said to the both of them without showing too much enthusiasm, "I'm Lieutenant Chandler. Nice to meet the two of you."

V'Uarr did a circle with his paw and bent at the waist, "V'Uarr, Lieutenant, at your pleasure, Miss Zixx." He smiled toothily before frowning, pointing at her work. "Should't you... keep your eyes..." Hmm...

Zixx blinks back at her work. "Why? It'salmostdone." she says, as if it was a task you don't need to pay attention to. Easy as pie. "I like you fur." she says, looking back and reaching out to touch him.

"NO! I've gotta later of fat! I'd likely be better off in a colder environment then you would." she perks happily. "Mostofmyworldiswater." She does rub her head into his hand happy at the touch though.

Ricky looked a bit like a deer in the headlights at V'Uarr's question. "Um. I don't think anyone worthy of duty on a Starfleet ship is a 'poor thing,'" he replied half-jokingly. "To each their own. You look very suited for a water planet," he told Zixx.
