That was not my favourite away mission. It haunted me for weeks afterwards. The shock of it all." Gregori stabbed a piece of meat and looked up, "Anyway. Enough of that. Enough about me, I have too much of me in my own head. Tell me about you lately." Gregori grinned somewhat weakly but he was smiling all the same.

She eyed him, concern clearly on her face, but Eloa nodded, letting out a sigh. 'I have not had to complain about much. Glad I am back in my body. At least now I know how to make vocal chords work.' What else had she been up to? Uh, well....there was the conversation she had had with T'Sai and Zixx. 'Talking is difficult. There are nuances to making it sound correct.' Yeah, that was mighty brave of you, Minaran. Go home.

"You suit your body more." Gregori says, "Though it was nice to hear you talk. I do forget that you can't. I am just used to you communicating with me with a look, or with your hands. I just sort of fill the gaps." Gregori cut off a piece of meat from his steak and popped it into his mouth. He chewed and swollowed, "Talking is fine once you know how. It is tone of voice. It is as important as expressions and body language. It is not so much the words as the meaning behind them, the intent and how you say them. It is like if you are trying to say that you love someone, it could be a fraternal love like for a brother and sister. It could be romantic for partners. Platonic for friends. All of them are the same words just from a different intent of usage." Gregori frowned and tapped his finger on the table. "Do you want an internal voice box? I think I could build one better than the PADD. If you want it that is. Just occured to me I could do it. Sorry my mind wanders but you know that."

An internal voice box? That would inter-- A loud whistle caught her attention and she turned her head, seeing Ryne. He winked at her and she just shook her head, smiling. He made a heart with his hands and she rolled her eyes, resulting in a puppy dog face. In return, she held up her hand, turning her head away, but still able to see him out of the corner of her eye. The Tuv'nii's mouth dropped and he looked devastated. So she blew him a kiss and he grinned. Ryne jerked his head slightly, indicating the Russian, complete with eyebrow waggle. Eloa's face flushed almost as bad as the Captain's. Ryne gave her a pointed look and Lo returned her attention to Greg, face still flaming. She puffed out her cheeks and the air left her in an explosive sigh. Then she signed something so fast that even T'Sai wouldn't have been able to understand it. But she was looking at Greg hopefully but with a touch of apprehension.

Gregori was looking at his food and possibly one of the PADD's while he was cutting up his steak. He looked to the sound of the sigh, and then he saw Eloa blushing. "What? Are you alright?" Gregori frowned a little confused.

Oh, stars. 'Fine. I am fine.' She was gonna punch Ryne. So hard. How dare he try to help her. Puh. She was a coward and totally okay with that.

"Are you sure? You seem upset or nervous. Or disappointed. Have I done something wrong?" Gregori was confused, he knew something was up with his friend but he wasn't sure what.

Gregori frowned and shrugged, "You know you can talk to me about anything. Right? I have your back always. Hell you have always been there for me. Ever since you fixed my wrist after the truely impressive beating I took." Gregori laughed remembering the actually kind of savage beating he took, he wasn't sure why it was funny....maybe because he was right in his arguement? He wasn't sure. He shook his head, "Remember I am here if you need anything."
