A pull on the corner of her mouth. "Yes, I would." She began to unravel her wrist wraps, telling herself she'd make up for it tomorrow.

"Computer, bring us to the Kasjji beach," Toppler instructed, bringing himself to his feet.

T'Sai went to her feet as he did, feeling the ground change beneath her. It would never get old to her.

Toppler shifted his feet into the red hued sand, and looked over the vast glittering blue ocean. Reeds grew behind him on large dunes. It was untouched, how he programmed it. The breeze ruffled his pink hair and he inhaled the smell of salt. He had liked the oceans on the planets he had been too, and this one was no different. He smiled softly and looked at T'Sai.
"Beautiful isn't it, lil darlin"

T'Sai's arms lifted with the breeze and she closed her eyes. Oceans were one of her favorite things. "Yes," she breathed, looking around to view her new surroundings. "The sands of Vulcan are a similar color." It was comfortable, but never homesickening.

"The people along the sand All turn and look one way. They turn their back on the land. They look at the sea all day.
As long as it takes to pass A ship keeps raising its hull; The wetter ground like glass Reflects a standing gull
The land may vary more; But wherever the truth may be- The water comes ashore, And the people look at the sea.
They cannot look out far. They cannot look in deep. But when was that ever a bar To any watch they keep? " Toppler recited to himself, as well as to T'sai. It was one of his favorite poems, by one of his favorite poets.

She loosely crossed her arms, "I didn't know you read poetry." T'Sai slipped off her shoes with her feet, feeling the sands heat bare before making her way to the water. She dipped her toes in first, making her goosebumpy. "Do you swim?"

"Not very well," Toppler admitted. He had a lot of metal. He simply sank.

"Well, you can wade, can't you?" T'Sai moved until the water reached her calves, hands on her hips now. She would have to ask to get a copy of his program.

"I can wade, yes," he kicked off his shoes and rolled up his pants to the knee. The ocean was a little chilly, but it felt good with the heat around him, "You know, we can change into swim clothes if it suits you," he told her.

"Whatever you wish." Her voice was almost a song, in her happy place. Wind in her hair, sand on her feet, cool water and a fresh heat. T'Sai would stand there for hours if you let her.

"Computer, arch," Toppler instructed and typed in some commands. Two little tents appeared on the sand, changing rooms. "There are suits inside," Toppler told her, entering into one to change. He slipped his clothing off and donned the brown swim trunks and the black tank top. With a shrug he exited.

T'Sai smirked, walking into the tent. On Vulcan, they had optional tents. She changed into a black one piece that went about three inches down her leg, rather than stopping at her hips. It's back had an opening that was matched in the front, the sides hold together with small golden hoops. The Vulcan took no time in trotting out, making her way to the water before diving in smoothly.

Toppler enjoyed the view of the woman entering the water before he walked out into the ocean up to his knees. Then he promptly sat down and the water reached his chest. He allowed himself to fall backward into the water. He lay for a moment before sitting upright, his hair slicked back with the salt water.

The Vulcan's head popped up from the water to her nose. She sat there a moment, watching him and holding her breath. Her hair swirled around her like her heart did, but she chose to ignore it, for now. Taking water in her mouth, the salt not bothering her numb tongue, she spat a stream in the air and onto him before disappearing again. She was a fish in another life.
