"I have no interest in finding out what scaly horror lies beneath these clothes." He snapped, clearly just incredibly angry.

"...exCUSE me." says the Cardassian in a cat, sounding very cold, her fuzzy ears tucked backwards against her skull in annoyance, "I don't know why you are perhaps, berating at ME. I was not the one to force you down to this planet to study it. That is simply your DUTY. You don't have to be so cruel. And I thought you one of the kinder spirits on board.... tch. I'm always disappointed. And I've been listening, it's clearly not permanent. You do not need to be talk down to my body. "
"After all, at least you aren't... THAT." She points to Leida's body, holding Zixx, who clearly has her hands down her pants and ... um... a look of enjoyment on her face.
"A-HEM. I would say you've got the LOTTERY of bodies here. You should take a lesson from it and learn to be a little more THICK SKINNED. Really. I thought Security would be better under pressure. Clearly, Star Fleet training is lacking, both in crisis training and DIPLOMACY. What exactly in my body is causing you ... problems? Is your sex drive out of control? Have you forgotten how to breath? Are you being bombarded with telepathic feelings? Are you stuck in a CHILD? Do you... hack up HAIRBALLS?"
She pauses to glare him down with those golden narrow-stilted eyes, the air feels, you swear, like winter has come. "My body is just fine. Perhaps use that big brain of mine for something other then anger and panic."

Oramov was setting up scanners around the eye when he heard Jekcor and Al arguing. The eye started to light up. Oramov's eyes widdened as his scanners started flaring. He jumped backwards and slammed the activation button for the stasis field he has set up. Inside the field there was a blinding flash of light that only went as far as the field. Oramov was sat on the floor, holding his PADD in his hand. His facial expression moved from shock, fear, to excitement and laughter. "Emotional trigger. Possibly empathetic or psychic in it's mechanics. Like a bomb but of course not lethal. Well not directly." Oramov picked up another scanner and looked at the readings. "Yes, definetly works off of empathic stimuli. Fasinating. Might want to lay off the aggression a little bit. I think the field will hold but the more agitated we get the more likely it is to activate and try to change us. Of course it might not effect everyone who has already been changed." Oramov pushed himself back up to his feet. He clicked his fingers more to himself than anyone in particular. "I need an empath or a telepath?" He looked around himself searching for a likely candidate.

"You don't get to decide how I feel! You aren't my friend and you've done nothing but make me suffer for any kindness I've tried to show you. Or don't you recall the time you tried to convince me that I'd slept with you? You're manipulative and maniacal and I'm uncomfortable because it's your body. Call me poor in a crisis but I sure as hell was never trained to be outside of my own body. I'm not ashamed to admit that I can't handle being someone else. I'll take my reprimand when they dish it out without regret because I know who I am and it certainly isn't you." He spat. He was a security officer. His job wasn't diplomacy, it was protection and he was protecting himself at the moment.
Ambassador Korvik offered himself up to Gregori as a touch telepath, since he was, at the moment, just trying to stay out of the way.

Oramov turned to Korvik, "Ah Ambassador, Thank you. I was wondering if you ever got a impression off of the device when you were effected by it. Or did you get an impression when it was activated just now. Or would you have not due to your telepathy being touch based?"

"I perceived a flash of something, but I was not sufficiently prepared to interpret anything from it in the short amount of time." The Vulcan replied. "I shall endeavor to provide a better analysis of it should another flash occur."

Jekcor turns her head away. "We... were both drunk. I THOUGHT we did." She puts on a saddened face. "...I liked to think we did. I suppose I should be glad we didn't, with how cruel you are being."
She turns her body away from him. She actually sort of truthful with that. She wouldn't mind having doing so with him, but acting like this, peh, men are always idiots. Like sleeping with her would be a terrible thing! HMPH. Her tail flickers like crazy, upset. At least, SHE did something useful with this body switch. She can't help everyone ELSE panicked.
"I'm so SORRY my BODY seems so disgusting to you that all these PROSPECTS are terrible beyond measure to you."
The arguing continues, and Captain does look more then interested, glancing over at the two with a raised eyebrow, but no comment, she seems most interested in Greg's work. "Found something interesting?"

"Yes, Captain. The relic is effected by emotion. Well more an empathic trigger. It is triggered by negative emotions i think. I am going to theorise that it is a sort of tool for making people get along. If they are advisarial then you force them to be in their shoes, to see though anothers eyes. So to speak. The idea is to make you empathise with the person you are in and I guess in a round about fashion make the bonds stronger. But that is a question for an anthropologist to answer." Oramov flapped his hands as if dismissing the thoughts. "The point is. If people fight it activates to change you. The Stasis field seems to be holding it back from doing so. Containing it from effecting us. I am getting so amazing readings from it. I would love to know what its power source is, it is powerful if it can change so much in such a small body. Part of me wants to take it apart, but i think that would cause more problems then it is worth. But I have scanners keeping an eye on it. And i think I want to try a controlled activation. To see if only agression is the trigger. I do wonder how intelligent the relic is. If it is at all. Some of them seem to have a manner that connects them, usually relating to the mind or emotional states. I am thinking of the Klingon moon. But instead of externalising our thoughts, and desires, it changes the mind of the individual. sort of the difference between a microphone and a speaker, for lack of a better analogy."

"You can think what you want, but you knew that I'm not the kind of person who would have a one night stand. You made me think I did. You made me feel like a terrible person on purpose. You knew! You like making me feel bad, but not this time! I'm not being manipulated again. You can't control me this time." He threw back, as icy as she had been to him. "I'm not your puppet."

She turns over her shoulder and sneers, "Who said I wanted a one night stand? You just consider me a terrible person, but you pay attention to no one's problems but your OWN. But I have no interest in men with no WARMTH toward me when he wakes up! You showed your true colors when I was pushed out. There's no room for me."
She says all this, but her tail is fluffed outward. After all, she rather would have liked him to be her puppet.
The Captain sighs, "At least we have a constant test subjects." she pauses to put some of her hair away, "...all the artifacts are highly ingrained into the culture, supposedly, this one stopped a war by switching the leaders of two armies."

"Supports the theory." Oramov shrugged, "I think we might need new once. It already reacted to their conflict. I doubt it will again. at least not until they have resolved it. I think you can force an change back. Simply be tricking the body into feeling a similar state to someone. If it thinks they are thinking alike and feeling the same emotions then it might trigger a swap. Of course that is a theory. I would have to test it. Obviously." Oramov looked at his scans again. "I am almost certain that emotion is the trigger to activate and end the phenomina."

The male Caitian patted his own head, half-fluffing his hair back to regular shape. "You like my fur, yes? Well, so do I. I love my fur." V'Uarr looked around, making sure no one who could blackmail him was watching. "In fact, I have this spot that just feels wonderful to be scratched riiiight here!" He rubbed behind Rorin's left ear.

"Aahhh!" Rorin cooed delightedly as V'Uarr rubbed behind his ear. He had never felt that before! In his tiny mind, Rorin wondered what it would be like to be a Caitian all the time. If it was anything like this, it wasn't too bad! No wonder Mr. V'Uarr loved his fur. It was great.
Rorin's eyes flashed, and he was back in his own little body. Aaron was now in V'Uarr's body, which Ava just managed to catch before it hit the floor.

"Woo!" V'Uarr jumped up, outstretching his bare arms upon seeing his body fall over. He gave Zixx's shoulder a tap. "You're turn to help me!"
A prickle sensation went through his new body once the white left his vision. Aaron was a little more used to it now, blinking as he assessed himself. Great, he was a Caitian. He sat up, "Thank you for, uh, catching me."

"Oof- you're welcome," Ava replied, after she made sure that Aaron wasn't hurt. She then turned her attention back to her son. "Rorin, sweetie, are you okay?" she asked, although she already knew the answer to that question--Rorin was up and running around, cheerfully enjoying being small and humanoid again. "Come on, Rorin, we're going to go back to the ship," she said as she took his hand, while thinking to herself, before anything else weird happens.
