Eloa needed the quiet for now. Of the people she had asked, she had gotten terrible advice. One would think Ryne, given his culture, would have been the best. But upon asking, he had responded with "Well, I starved myself, sooooo...." Eloa had no intention of starving herself for Greg. Argan had told her to recite poetry to him. Or kill something. The former was doable, but the electronic voice of her PADD just wouldn't be the same, and he didn't know enough sign language for that to be an option. She could, write it, of course, but she had looked up the definition of "recite" and it clearly insisted a voice be used.
She would have asked Zeke, but that would require talking to him. And that was something she wasn't willing to do.
Frustrated with her failures so far, she had retired to the Observation Deck, and was sitting on the floor, legs crossed. Maybe the stars could give her an answer....

Familiar footsteps slowly made their way down the hall. Upon rounding the curved pathway, a Vulcan can be seen watching the stars herself. Almost... monitoring. Her brow indicated deep thought, but would quickly change when she noticed another person. Although appearing passive already, something about spotting Eloa made her soften. Ah, she had missed her friend.

The stars were as silent as always. While normally, that was a blessing, right now it did her no good. Eloa huffed, anger flashing through her before it subsided just as quickly. Upon hearing the footsteps, she craned her head up, and smiled seeing her friend. She waved at her, fingers curling.

T'Sai gave a wave, walking up to her. She was in her casual dress, a black off-shoulder sweater with deep beige leggings. Giving another glance to the stars before moving to see her friend she signed, 'May I sit with you?'

Lo nodded, patting the floor next to her. Surly T'Sai could give her better advice than Ryne and Argan. But she would get to that later. 'How have you been?' she signed back.

'Well...' T'Sai looked off, seeming to be trying to recall. This was a facade. She gently took a place beside 'Lo on the ground. 'Many things to share. No longer with E-r-i-c.' A soft shrug. 'Estranged now.'

The Minaran smiled sadly, looking at her in sympathy. 'I am sorry to hear that. But now something better awaits you. You will have your one eventually. We all will.'

The corner of her mouth gave way slightly. 'A coincidence that you mention. I may' She exaggerated the sign, 'be seeing someone.'

Suddenly forgetting her own slight depression in regards to the world of dating, Eloa shifted so she was fully facing her friend, and signed energetically. 'Who? Oh my stars, who is it?'

A light blush began to appear but she held her face. 'Name is D-r-o-n-u-s. He is six foot two inches, in Security. He is...' T'Sai had to pause, actually forgetting the sign for a moment. 'Andorian.'

'Andoran?' she repeated, eyes wide. She leaned back, slightly, eyes narrowing. 'But...you...' Her hands dropped to her lap and she looked down for a moment. Eloa raised her head again, face scrunching because she knew she was about to ask a stupid question, but it was an important question. 'Are you happy?'

T'Sai looked at the space Eloa had used to sign a moment after she had finished before looking out to the vast darkness. She wasn't searching it this time. 'I... feel better. Good. I think that's good.' She looked to her friend. 'I do not think of perfection anymore. I do not think about what others think. Most of the time.'

'That is good.' Eloa had fallen still again, unsure if now was a good time or not. She decided it wasn't. 'Always being worried about how others see you can be exhausting,' she added, grinning.

The Vulcan nodded, sighing lightly to release a weight she felt. 'And you? How have you been?'

'Not bad,' she replied. 'But...I find myself in the unfortunate situation of still having feelings for G-r-e-g. I have been trying to decide if I should act on them. And what I would need to do. R-y-n-e and A-r-g-a-n gave me horrible advice.'
